Aliens: Dark Descent arrives on Xbox in June, taking us on a squad-based tactical mission to stop the iconic Xenomorphs, and while many familiar-looking critters will appear, the latest trailer teases a “new breed of Xenomorph.”Arriving on June 20th for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, Aliens: Dark Descent will be telling a brand-new story within the Aliens universe. Preorders are now open, and developer Tindalos Interactive decided that the preorder trailer would be a good time to tease a “new breed of Xenomorph.”Aliens: Dark Descent preorder trailerIn Aliens: Dark Descent, we use squad-based tactical gameplay to lead a crew of Colonial Marines to stop a Xenomorph outbreak on the Planet Lethe. Death is permanent for your Marines as well as your foes, so navigating the large open persistent levels will need to be done carefully. We’ll be working through a brand-new story for the franchise, battling it out with Xenomorph Drones and Queens, rogue Yutani Corporation operatives, and never-before-seen creatures, including a “new breed of Xenomorph.”Preorders are now live on Focus Interactive’s website and offers the Lethe Recon Pack as a preorder bonus, which includes a Black Armor Set and Unique Feline Companion as in-game rewards.
