Remedy Entertainment has officially announced Alan Wake Remastered, and that means the once Xbox exclusive is finally coming to PS4 and PS5 too. While the developer has not announced a concrete release date, Remedy Entertainment Creative Director Sam Lake stated that it will launch in fall 2021. The remaster is being published by Epic Games. Further information about Alan Wake Remastered will come at a later date.“This is for you,” Lake noted in his message to fans, “Alan Wake came out over 11 years ago, and through that time, you have told us again and again how much you love the game, the story, the characters, and the lore … The remaster is coming because of your support for Alan Wake through the years.” Reports recently surfaced that a remastered Alan Wake would be announced at the upcoming PlayStation Showcase, but it looks as though the developer has let the proverbial cat out of the bag early. Whether or not it will also be shown at Thursday’s showcase is unknown. We can’t thank you enough for the love and support you’ve shown #AlanWake these 11 years… but I can try.I wrote you a letter on our lovely, long-time fan site, @TheSuddenStop.Welcome to Bright Falls, again, for the first time.
