First look at Dead Space remake coming today in developer livestream

EA Motive is holding a special livestream for the upcoming Dead Space remake later today Dead Space remake will take place later today, offering fans a look at an early development build of the game. The livestream kicks off today (August 31st) at 10am PT/ 1pm ET/ 6pm BST and will feature footage of an early prototype of the game, which EA stresses is not final “in any capacity.” Dead Space senior producer Philippe Ducharme and creative director Roman Campos-Oriola will also speak about their vision for the game during the stream. The Dead Space remake was announced last month during EA Play Live 2021 with a brief teaser trailer. Developer EA Motive says Dead Space has been rebuilt from the ground up for next-gen consoles using EA’s Frostbite engine and that we can expect an improved story, characters, and gameplay mechanics. No release date has been given, but speculation points towards a fall 2022 launch. The Dead Space developer livestream takes place later today at 10am PT/ 1pm ET/ 6pm BST and can be watched over on Motive Studio’s official Twitch channel.
