The young gun stays, but the rest of the Ravens are released.
The London Royal Ravens had a 2021 season full of struggles. From Trei “Zer0” Morris stuck in the UK, to Alex “Alexx” Carpenter having to leave for personal reasons, the Ravens have had a 2021 season to forget. While the young rookies of Paul “PaulEhx” Avila and Marcus “Afro” Reid brought some light to the squad, only one of them stays as the rest of the roster is dropped ahead of 2022.
Ahead of the 2022 Call of Duty League season, Sean “Seany” O’Connor, Alexx, PaulEhx, Zach “Zed” Denyer and Coach Shane “ShAnE” McKerral have been released by the London Royal Ravens. This move sees Afro remain as the only player on the roster, as they look to build around the young English rookie. After a strong season from himself, it’s no surprise to see the Ravens focus on him, and look to make him the star of their 2022 team.
With many talented English rookies in the Challengers scene, we expect the Royal Ravens to go full English once again and use their homegrown talent next year.
