LAFC and LA Galaxy have the most consistently chaotic and entertaining rivalry on American soil and their latest El Trafico meeting proves it.

Who needs El Clásico when you’ve got El Tráfico?

LAFC and LA Galaxy may not be the biggest brands in American sports, but their rivalry is better than all the rest if you’re looking for bang for your buck.

These two teams just seem to go wild every time the MLS rivals meet. For an example, turn to Saturday’s dramatic 3-3 draw at Banc of California Stadium.

The Galaxy went up 1-0. LAFC pegged it back with a penalty before halftime. Then things got absolutely crazy.

Brian Rodriguez scored an absolutely jaw-dropping goal to put LAFC ahead 2-1.

Dejan Joveljić tied it back up six minutes later. Two minutes after than, Rodriguez struck again.

Since El Trafico is never short of twists and turns, Kevin Cabral turned up in the 86th minute with yet another game-tying goal.

LAFC and LA Galaxy delivered another thrilling El Tráfico

The insanity of it all had Twitter quaking.

It’s simple. El Tráfico always delivers.

There are other more historic rivalries out there, but few meetings produce the fireworks that always seem to accompany these games.

It helps that neither team decided to play defense on Saturday.

Both sides can appreciate the madness, even if both sides really wanted the three points.

The Galaxy lost two matches in a row coming into Saturday. The draw keeps them from extending their losing streak.

LAFC haven’t won since July 17 and they were on a four-game losing skid. A draw isn’t entirely satisfying. It stops the bleeding, though, and that’s better than nothing.
