Following heavy criticism of the Saints Row reveal earlier this week, Volition has dropped a new video that shows some actual gameplay and further details the game. The reboot was revealed at Gamescom earlier this week with a CGI trailer, which didn’t go down too well with fans of the series. At the time of writing, the announcement trailer currently has more dislikes than it does likes. Fans also took to Twitter to voice their concerns about the game, with the official Saints Row Twitter account replying to one user saying that the team wasn’t “backing down” on the reboot. “We get it, it’s new, and it’s a shock reaction to a reboot like no other,” the tweet reads.In the new Welcome to Santo Ileso trailer, Volition gives us a brief overview of why it’s decided to reboot the series, more details of the game’s setting, characters (yes, your character is customisable), enemy factions, and more, all peppered with snippets of gameplay.
