Ubisoft aims to release a title update for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey tomorrow, which will add 60fps support for the game on Xbox Series X|S through backwards compatibility. Title Update 1.6.0 arrives tomorrow, August 24th, at 8am CEST/2am ET/4pm AEST, and 11pm PDT (Aug 23), with a patch size of around 370MB on Xbox One. There’s not much else to add about this, other than that Kassandra will finally have the buttery-smooth 60fps she deserves. It’s pretty slow in terms of Assassin’s Creed news at the moment. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Siege of Paris DLC dropped earlier this month, giving the game a massive boost on last week’s Xbox Gameplay Chart. We already know that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will “benefit from a stronger and longer post-launch programme” than Odyssey, which suggests more expansions and DLC will arrive for Valhalla in the future, but we don’t know yet just what that content might be — Ubisoft has been focusing its efforts on The Siege of Paris and the earlier Wrath of the Druids expansions — but we’ll update you when we learn more.In the meantime, will you be diving back into Assassin’s Creed Odyssey after tomorrow’s update? Let us know in the comments!
