Struggling is a co-op physics-based platformer that has each player control an arm of a science experiment gone wrong through increasingly bizarre settings, and it launches on September 8th.Co-op games are awesome fun when you have to work as a team to get through puzzles, but what happens when you need to coordinate in an attempt to move one shared character in any one direction? Struggling is set to answer that question when it releases on September 8th. Developed by Chasing Rats Games and published by Frontier Foundry, Struggling tasks two players with controlling a single odd-looking creature through a series of strange settings in an attempt to find the Abomination Gods… obviously. The odd-looking creature called Troy, is quite the unfortunate being — not only does he only have two oversized fleshy arms and a small round body with a couple of faces slapped on the front, but he also has to contend with two (potentially) bickering players trying to drag him in opposite directions. Once you’ve managed to coordinate yourselves enough to move through the missions, you’ll find an art style that mixes comedy with horror and an assortment of levels spread throughout four very different worlds that include laboratories and dreamscapes — with rainbow farting unicorns! The aim of the game is to get Troy to his destination in one piece, swinging your way through the environments and unlocking various new upgrades through Troy’s ability to mutate himself. The game can be played solo or in local co-op.Struggling is set to launch on September 8th for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S through backwards compatibility. Will you be grabbing yourself a co-op partner and tackling Troy’s challenges? Let us know!
