The upcoming Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania is turning into quite the all-star event, and hot on the heels of Sonic and Tails (who were announced last week) comes news that Yakuza star Kazuma Kiryu will be joining them. That’s rad.As confirmed on Twitter by the team, the popular Yakuza protagonist will be a free playable character in the upcoming game, joining Beat from Jet Set Radio and Sonic and Tails. Collectables are changed from bananas when you pick these additional characters, which is a neat touch — Sonic and Tails get rings, Beat goes after spray cans, and Kiryu rounds up bottles of Staminan X. The new character announcements seem to be coming thick and fast, so we’re looking forward to seeing who else will be joining the ever-growing roster in the two months left until launch.
