EA has announced a partnership with Marvel to develop “at least” three new action-adventure games, with the first being a previously-revealed single-player Iron Man game.While we already knew that a new Iron Man game was in development at Motive Studios, EA has now announced it has a multi-title partnership with Marvel, and it will be developing “at least three new action adventure games” based on Marvel comic book characters for consoles and PC.EA partners with Marvel to create “at least” three new gamesAccording to EA, each game will be “their own original story set in the Marvel universe.” The first title currently in development is a single-player third-person action-adventure Iron Man game from Motive Studios, which was announced back in September. EA says this new Iron Man title will is being developed in collaboration with Marvel and it will “feature an original narrative that taps into the rich history of the character, channeling the complexity, charisma, and creative genius of Tony Stark, and enabling players to feel what it’s like to truly play as Iron Man.” The game is headed up by Olivier Proulx, who previously worked on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.Unfortunately, nothing has been said about any of the other games EA is currently working on with Marvel. Rumours floating around the internet suggest one is a Black Panther game, which is said to be in development at EA’s new Seattle studio. Earlier this year, EA announced it had partnered with Lucasfilm Games to develop three new Star Wars games, including Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
