BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA – Australian drone management company Flyfreely has become the newest member of Drone Logistics Ecosystem’s global network. The startup has joined DLE to offer its expertise and support in drone flight operation planning, management, and post-recording. FlyFreely helps commercial UAV operators manage all aspects of operations, compliance, and fleet management. Its all-in-one and fully customisable platform improves efficiencies, saving businesses time and money. FlyFreely has developed a single-page mission planning form with all data in one place, including everything from the required regulatory paperwork and forms, to automatically capturing and uploading flight logs, post analysis, and the updating of pilot, craft and equipment flight times.
Co-founder and CEO Dr David Cole said “the drone industry had grown exponentially in recent years, with companies in all sectors now embracing the technology. “We’re excited to be part of this new frontier and to continue to partner with innovative businesses like DLE as the technology reaches more and more people,” he said.
DLE Global Executive Director Dr Ali Jahanshahi said “we are thrilled to have FlyFreely on board as a member. Its product offering is unique in the drone industry, with many operators still struggling with efficiency because of all the paperwork that’s required, whether it be flight logs or regulatory requirements. FlyFreely offers a scalable and end-to-end, time-saving solution and we’re proud to have them as part of our ecosystem. DLE has expanded rapidly over the past 12 months to become one of the largest global networks of organizations in the drone sector, featuring 47 entities in 21 countries. To qualify to join, businesses either need to be well-funded post seed round, with a unique value proposition or be a revenue-generating company.”
Drone Logistics Ecosystem™
DLE is a global/virtual network of Companies, Universities, the Public/Governments, and Investors operating in the drone logistics industry. The aim of the DLE is to bring together stakeholders to collaborate to stimulate standardization in this rapidly emerging industry. Hence, accelerating cross-border marketing and commercialization of products and services of its members. Since most of the companies in this industry are early-stage start-ups with limited access to funding, manpower and expertise, DLE is the ideal platform for companies to share their expertise to co-develop products and services and/or acquire necessary cross-border market access in partnership with other members.
