The Wandering Village has you working to build a settlement on the back of a huge roaming creature, while trying to save your people from the “mysterious toxic spores” polluting the planet. It was featured during the ID@Xbox Twitch showcase with a new trailer confirming it’ll come to Xbox.Developer Stray Fawn Studio says that these toxic spores drove a group of people out of their village. It’ll be up to us to create a new home on the back of the creature, which they’ve named Onbu. We can’t take Onbu for granted, however, and have to form a “symbiotic relationship” to ensure we all survive. “Even though your villagers will need to harvest materials from the creatures’ body, you’ll have to keep it strong and healthy to make sure that it keeps on walking, away from the spores and, hopefully, towards a safer place.” We’ll be kept busy building our village, farming crops, foraging for resources, and working on a relationship with Onbu.There’s no release date yet for The Wandering Village, but it’ll be available on Xbox whenever it does launch.
