Tormented Souls will be released digitally on August 27th for Xbox Series X|S, giving players a chance to explore the town of Winterlake in a classic survival horror setting.Developed by Dual Effect and Abstract Digital Works, Tormented Souls follows the story of Caroline Walker as she attempts to investigate the disappearance of a pair of missing twin girls. Players must help Caroline’s investigation by exploring the town and abandoned mansion-turned-hospital, which also happens to be inhabited by evil forces and atrocious medical experiments. Tormented souls is built to be a survival horror experience worthy of the classics, as well as featuring puzzle-solving and crafting elements.Heidi spoke with the game’s co-director, Gabriel Araneda, for a lowdown on the game as part of our recurring Indie Spotlight feature.
