SNK‘s Yasuyuki Oda and Joshua Weatherford have revealed a couple of key details on the recently-announced Fatal Fury title during GameCom last week.Speaking with Twinfinite, the duo confirmed that development on the new Fatal Fury game has already started, rather than being simply greenlit. SNK is also treating it as a “very big release,” and as such it will be “a little while” before the team share more details.Elsewhere, Oda-san revealed that his first port of call when he returned to SNK in 2014 was to approach president Eikichi Kawasaki and ask him, “please let me make a new Garou game.” The new Fatal Fury will also place a strong emphasis on the single-player mode in comparison to recent SNK offerings, although multiplayer is obviously part of the package.Related Content – Sony PS5 Complete Guide – Everything Explained On PlayStation 5 For New UsersWhen asked if the team would bring back anyone from the old Fatal Fury cast, he didn’t offer anything concrete, but did not confirm that Terry Bogard will be in the new title. The new Fatal Fury game was announced at EVO 2022 and has yet to attract a release date or supported platforms.[Source – Twinfinite]
