Square Enix’s US store is in the process of fire-selling games like Tomb Raider and Deus Ex now owned by Embracer after the $300 million deal closed last week, with 90% off just about everything affected.Embracer’s deal to pick up a job lot of Square’s western games and studios completed last week, and it looks like Square is trying to shift its remaining stock with deals in its online US store that see the likes of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy drop as low as $3.Square Enix US store heavily discounting Embracer-owned titlesA lot of the good stuff is going fast, which is somewhat unsurprising when they’re putting up triple-A titles for a few bucks a pop, but you might still be able to bag yourself a bargain if you’re quick (and in the US… the sale doesn’t appear to be happening on the other regional stores we checked). Seeing the Marvel games lumped in with those named in all mentions of what was included in the Embracer deal — the likes of Tomb Raider, Thief, and Deus Ex — would seem to confirm that ongoing rights to those titles were also passed over to Embracer along with the studios that worked on them.Plan on having a rummage through Square’s unexpected yard sale?
