Nothing’s phone (1) kept its crown as the most popular phone in our database for the third week in a row, while Google’s Pixel 6a is once again the runner-up. The gap is much smaller this week, though, so we might see a change at the top in week 31.
In third we have the Asus Zenfone 9, which made its official debut and finally ended the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra’s streak of consecutive bronze medals.
The Samsung flagship settled for fourth, just edging the Redmi Note 11 and the Galaxy A53.
There are three Apple smartphones in the final four positions, with the iPhone 13 Pro Max ranking the highest in seventh. Strangely enough, none of the other 13 series iPhones made it and instead it’s the aging iPhone XR in eight and iPhone X in tenth that keep it company.
The final phone on this week’s installment of the chart is the Samsung Galaxy A13 that placed ninth.
The Xiaomi 12S Ultra and Redmi K50i didn’t make the cut this time and we only have one Xiaomi phone in the top 10 for the first time since yours truly can remember. Over the next few weeks we’ll see if this is merely a coincidence or if the company’s current lineup just fails to generate as much interest as its predecessors.
See you next week!
