If you happen to be in Shanghai, starting today and until August 2 you can visit the iQOO booth at the ChinaJoy exhibition. If you do, there’s a good chance you’ll get to handle the upcoming iQOO 8 like some already did.
Here is the photo evidence of several people with the upcoming phone. Note that the phone is inside a case to hide its design and keep some surprises for the expected August 4 announcement.

Here is a video showing off the phone in action:
So far these have been unofficial glimpses at the upcoming device. Next up is the first official teaser for the iQOO 8. The focus is on the display and from what’s in the video you can expect a high-resolution HDR display with higher than 120 Hz refresh rate. And it will be a curved display, as can be seen in the photos.
Back to the rumor mill – iQOO set up demos that show off its 120W charging system at its booth, but the iQOO 8 may go even faster, 160W, according to unconfirmed info. The phone is expected to be one of the first to feature the new Snapdragon 888+ chipset with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB storage. Leakster DigitalChatStation also shared details about the screen, 1,440 x 3,200 px (a Samsung E5 LTPO AMOLED, allegedly).
