Saber Interactive has dropped a new trailer for World War Z: Aftermath, showing off gameplay, three new story missions, the new first-person camera, a new elite enemy type, and more.World War Z: Aftermath was announced during E3 with a reveal trailer, and we’ve been patiently waiting to find out where the studio plans to go with it. The recently released trailer shows that the team is bringing plenty of new features, along with all World War Z: Game of the Year Edition content. World War Z: Aftermath will launch with 23 PvE maps spread across seven episodes: New York, Jerusalem, Moscow, Tokyo, Marseille, Rome, and Russia’s Kamchatka peninsula. Each of the original classes will return, joined by the new Vanguard class which uses an electric shield to plough through the undead. If it’s close-quarters combat that gets your blood pumping, then Saber has you covered with a revamped melee combat system in World War Z: Aftermath. You’ll be able to use new unique moves, perks, dual-wielding, and two-handed weapons to slaughter the undead. Just be careful, because we’re not sure how well those melee weapons would fare against a swarm of rats — World War Z: Aftermath’s newest elite enemy.World War Z: Aftermath will be launching later this year on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, featuring a new first-person view and running at 4K/60fps on Xbox Series X|S. Owners of the new consoles can expect to see further enhancements added via an update due to arrive some time next year.
