One of the very early quests you get in Xenoblade 3 is to find all the Nopon Caravans. Check out this guide to find out Where To Find The Nopon Caravans In Xenoblade Chronicles 3. This way you can get the quest done as soon as possible.
This one was either at the Bennel Cave Camp or down below at the Lake Rezzento Camp. I got it during chapter 2 and was in a cave. Check both spots and speak with the Nopons there to get a crystal.
During chapter 3 there will be a Nopon hanging out at the forward post camp. If you warp back there and speak to him he will give you a red crystal and that will be 2 out of 19.
You will find this one on your way to Colony 30. It is here on the map.
Talk with the Nopon to get the crystal and have number 3.
You will find this one during Chapter 3 when you are down in the mine tunnels with all the spiders. After you beat the queen spider you will go deeper into the tunnels. You will run into a couple of Nopon while you are down there.
This one is on the Fornis Region Map and can be found here on the map.
You will have to kill some beasts in the area to get this camp unlocked. Once you do, the Nopon will appear.
This one unlocks during chapter 4, or maybe before that but that is when I got it.
Head there and there should be a quest and a Nopon with a gem.
During the chapter 5 main quest you will run into a camp here on the Pentelas Region map.
Talk to the Nopon next to the caravan to get the gem.
You will find this one in the Pentelas Region as well, right after the fight with the two Ouroboros bosses.
Talk to the Nopon there to get the gem.
