PS5 System Software Beta Launches With M.2 SSD Support, Trophy Tracker, And More

Sony Interactive Entertainment has launched its first PS5 system software beta initiative, which comes complete with support for M.2 SSDs.Select users in North America, Canada, Japan, UK, Germany, and France are now able to participate in the PS5 beta, and Sony has revealed that users will need a PCle Gen4 M.2 SSD featuring read speeds of 5,00MB/s or faster to take advantage of the technology.Using an M.2 SSD with your PS5 console requires effective heat dissipation with a cooling structure, such as a heatsink. Furthermore, users can also pick between 720p or 1080p for PlayStation Now.Meanwhile, the Game Base’s Friend tab has been updated with improved management options, allowing you to see how may of your friends are online.
