The upcoming Halo Infinite campaign co-up update will introduce “several” new achievements, 343 Industries has announced. 343 recently detailed what we can expect from Halo Infinite’s campaign co-op update in a lengthy blog post, which explained more about how progression will work with co-op in Halo Infinite, a new mission replay feature, and more. The post also revealed that more Halo Infinite achievements are on the way.Halo Infinite to get “several brand-new achievements” with campaign co-up updateHalo Infinite’s lead world designer, John Mulkey, explained that the new achievements have come about thanks to campaign co-op and mission replay. According to Mulkey, we can expect mission replay achievements that “are targeted at immaculate play challenges” while the co-op achievements will “revel in the possibilities presented by playing together.”To give us a taste of what we can expect from the new batch of achievements, Mulkey has given an example. “We challenge you to kill enemies with a Gravity Hammer from the back of a vehicle being driven by your buddy.”Unfortunately, that’s all 343 had to say on the new achievement front. We don’t know how many there will be or what else we can really expect. As it stands, the Headmaster achievement in Halo Infinite is currently broken. Hopefully, 343 will also fix this in the coming update. The Halo Infinite campaign co-op update is expected to roll out to players in late August. Are you glad to see more achievements come to Halo Infinite? Let us know.
