Our favorite game has gone through a lot of changes, so let’s see which were the best Overwatch 2 skins of 2023.
Even though the skins in Overwatch 2 do not have such an important role as the skins in CS2, there is no arguing those things are key. That’s the reason why each of the Overwatch Battle Passes for 2023 had a pretty good selection of skins.
Even though players who missed out on some of the skins can’t get them yet, it is time to take a look at the best Overwatch 2 skins for 2023. Even though we did not add this option to our Overwatch 2 2024 wishlist, we really hope that Blizzard eventually allows us to get the skins we want, even if we’ve missed out on them. This can be achieved by adding special events, as well as other kinds of things.
Before checking the skins we’ve listed below, keep in mind that beauty is subjective. You may not agree with our list, but here are the best Overwatch 2 skins of 2023 that you should know about.
Lilith Moira
The fact that Moira is not the most popular Overwatch 2 hero right now does not mean that the hero is not worth getting. She’s a solid pick in many setups, and people who have the Lilith Moira Overwatch 2 skin will be more than happy to use it.
What’s unique about this skin is its collaboration with another popular title from Blizzard – Diablo. People who are fans of the franchise got the chance to get the skin after the 2023 BlizzCon that took place a few months ago.
Lilith Moira is definitely only an option for some. Yet, people who like the hero and/or Diablo will find it very interesting. Another reason why a lot of you may like this skin is because the rest are just not good. In fact, we can probably say that Moira has some of the worst Overwatch 2 skins in the game (at least for now), so this one is a breath of fresh air.
Lilith Moira simply works with the hero’s story and personality. The horns, dress, and everything else that the skin brings to the table make this hero a lot more attractive.
Amaterasu Kiriko
There are not that many heroes in Overwatch 2 that are as popular and impactful as Kiriko. Ever since she was announced, he has been one of the best supports in the game, as well as the go-to option for loads of people. That’s why it is probably not surprising she has some of the best Overwatch 2 skins of 2023.
Speaking of the best, Amaterasu Kiriko is definitely among the options that deserve more attention. This is a mythic-tier cosmetic that became available during Overwatch 2 Season 3. As you know, those types of skins stand out because they allow players to customize different options about them. Consequently, users can have a unique-looking character.
Despite being among the first mythic skins, Amaterasu Kiriko remains one of the best options. The skin for the hero’s personality and playstyle works well together.
Saitama Doomfist
When listing the best Overwatch 2 skins of 2023, we need to include Saitama Doomfirst, and for a good reason. Despite not being the most popular hero in the game, Doomfirst has loyal fans who like using the hero in various situations. As expected, those are the people who like the Saitama Doomfirst skin.
What’s interesting about the skin is that its design is accurate to the one in the anime. It definitely makes Doomfirst look more attractive without being over the top. For example, the hero keeps his big fist weapon, which is a good thing because it is one of his distinctive signs.
Junker Queen Rugby
One of the interesting options that became available in Overwatch 2 Season 6 is the skin for Junker Queen “Rugby”. Even though this option did not get that much love because some fans said it does not fit the hero’s personality, we think it works fine. In fact, we really like how it looks, and we’ve been using it since it became available.
The skin allows Junker Queen to stand out because it fits her really well. You can clearly see her abs, and if you look closely, you will see that the Australian national rugby team inspires the skins’ colors. The latter has fans worldwide, so a lot of people will like how it looks.
LE SSERAFIM skins
Even though some players may think that these are definitely not the best Overwatch 2 skins of 2023, we need to share a few words about the Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM collab from a few months ago.
It is worth knowing that this collaboration came after the previous one with One Punch Man. LE SSERAFIM is a K-pop group that is extremely popular in some parts of the world, which is why Blizzard decided to join forces and create unique skins for certain heroes.
The bundle included skins for the following heroes:
- Tracer
- Sombra
- Kiriko
- D.Va
- Brigitte
Each one was pretty cool, but if we had to choose one, we would vote on D.Va’s option. It is just a bit better than the rest because of the merch that has sparkles. After all, most people like those kinds of things.
Of course, the skins are designed in a way to looks similar to the clothes worn by LE SSERAFIM. Despite the somewhat expensive price point, these skins are unique because we do not expect to see any future collaboration between Blizzard and the K-pop band. Of course, we are yet to see what will happen in the future.
