Five fighters not in the UFC who need to be.
The Mecca. The cream-of-the-crop. The crème de la crème. However you choose to describe it, the UFC has long solidified itself as the premier mixed martial arts organization in the world.
Generally speaking, this is hard to argue by just about every metric. However, despite its reputation as the best organization, the world’s best fighters don’t always fight in the UFC. There is a vast array of UFC-level fighters who are currently signed to the world’s other leading MMA promotions, including ONE Championship, Bellator, KSW, Rizin, LFA, Ares, and Cage Warriors (just to name a few).
As refreshing as it may be to see other organizations develop and showcase elite talent, most of the dream “what-if” matchups that fans like to fantasize about are being envisioned taking place under the UFC banner. Fans support and appreciate fighters that can make a living from fighting outside of the UFC. However, it doesn’t stop fans from wanting these same athletes to eventually make the move over to the UFC. Here are the top five fighters not currently fighting for the UFC, that absolutely should be.
