Xbox players can look forward to playing 1P2P Studio’s upcoming 2D brawler, Young Souls, when it launches on March 10th — a new gameplay overview trailer highlights the game’s RPG elements and boss battles. If you’ve been endlessly hammering away at the Elden Ring achievements this week and now find yourself craving something with a little more colour and some beat-’em-up action, then Young Souls might be the game you need — and it’s launching next week, March 10th. According to the team’s post on the PlayStation blog, Young Souls tells the story of Jenn and Tristan, twins that embark on an adventure between two worlds: the human world and the goblin world. The human world offers you a chance to relax and stock up on goods, so you’re ready for the action-focused portion of the game in the goblin world. Here you’ll face enemies, explore dungeons, fight bosses, and loot a multitude of items that will aid you in fighting the tougher foes in the game. While Young Souls is indeed a 2D brawler at heart, the team at 1P2P Studio has added RPG elements that aim to help you tackle the tough enemies awaiting you. You’ll be able to customise both Jenn and Tristan with new armours and helmets, but nothing restricts you from playing them however you like, at any time. One really cool feature is that when you’re playing in single-player you can control both characters, which opens up the ability to unleash combos on your enemies, almost like you’re playing with a second player — which is also available if you would rather destroy the goblin world with a friend. Young Souls launches on March 10th for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC after its release on Stadia. Will you be joining Jenn and Tristen on their world-jumping adventure?
