Quantic Dream has been pretty quiet on Star Wars Eclipse as of late, but the studio has told IGN that fans shouldn’t worry; the game still exists, but it’s simply not ready yet. “It’s simmering,” the Heavy Rain creator says.Speaking with IGN at the Tokyo Game Show 2023, Quantic Dream’s Vice President of Marketing, Lisa Pendse, had the following to say when asked about the highly anticipated sci-fi title:Can I say it still exists? Star Wars Eclipse is confirmed to take place during the High Republic era, which is around 200 years before the events of the Skywalker saga. There’s still no release date in sight yet, but it is understood that the game is still in the early stages of production.Back in early 2022, leaker Tom Henderson claimed that Star Wars Eclipse would not likely see the day until 2027, and that Quantic Dream was struggling to hire people for the project.
