Exomecha, the free-to-play FPS from TwistedRed, has been delayed indefinitely to allow the team more time to polish the base game and develop some post-launch content. It’s been a little while since we’ve heard anything from TwistedRed about its upcoming FPS game, Exomecha. It was first announced in July 2020 during the Xbox Games Showcase with a late 2021 release window, and then during the Xbox Indie Showcase in March 2021 TwistedRed announced that the game would launch in August of the same year. Almost four months to the day after the release date announcement, Exomecha was delayed into Q1 2022 to allow the team time to refine the game further. Now, TwistedRed has delayed the game again, but this time without any mention of a possible release window.According to the announcement tweet, the delay is for polish and post-launch content, and it doesn’t look as if there are any issues with the game’s development. We’ll keep you updated with any further news about Exomecha, but the team has been fairly quiet in recent months, so we expect any potential updates to be few and far between.
