New York Knicks free agency signing Evan Fournier was not too happy about his NBA 2K mobile game rendering.

Every single year, professional sports video games are under intense scrutiny from fans and players alike. Those who buy the game look towards gameplay and features, while athletes are looking at their overall ratings and player likenesses.

Evan Fournier, free agency signing of the New York Knicks, was none too pleased about seeing his rendering in the NBA 2K Mobile Basketball game. So much so, that he took to Twitter and showed an image of his likeness in the mobile game.

Granted, this is the mobile game, so the graphics and player likenesses are not always going to be the greatest. Let’s see if the platform versions feature a better rendering of Fournier.

The veteran has had a very active year. After starting the 2020-21 season on the Orlando Magic, Fournier was moved to the Boston Celtics at the NBA trade deadline in March to help bolster their roster ahead of the playoffs. Once the season ended, Fournier played for France’s men’s basketball team in the Summer Olympics, where they lost to the United States in the gold medal game.

During France’s run in the Tokyo Olympics, Fournier agreed to terms with the Knicks on a four-year, $78 million contract. The Knicks made a shocking run to the playoffs, but were unable to keep up on the scoreboard with the Atlanta Hawks, leading to their first-round elimination. New York desperately needed to sign a scorer this offseason, and they did so by negotiating a deal with Fournier.

Through 42 regular-season games between the Magic and Celtics, Fournier averaged 17.1 points, 3.4 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.1 steals while shooting 45.7-percent from the field and 41.3-percent from the three-point line.

Fournier has the huge contract. Now, all he is asking is for a better video game rendering of himself.
