Bethesda has launched an advertising campaign for their newly launching game, named “Windows to the Worlds” using 1001 Starfield billboards worldwide

One of the most anticipated games of 2023 is Bethesda Game Studios’ open-world action roleplaying game (ARPG), Starfield. The game is set in a space-themed environment where players can choose their own adventure and character. The game was initially announced officially in 2018 at Bethesda’s E3 presentation. At present, the game is set to launch on September 6, 2023, globally and the early-access release is set to be on September 1, 2023. Recently, Bethesda released the global release timings and PC specifications on August 28, 2023, in a blog post uploaded on Starfield’s official website. Now, on August 30, 2023, they have launched a scavenger hunt campaign with 1001 unique Starfield billboards worldwide and here’s everything we know about it.

In a tweet posted to the official Twitter account of the game, Starfield on August 30, 2023, Bethesda announced the scavenger hunt campaign. They have set up a whopping 1001 unique Starfield billboards all around the world which are numbered and have a different background. Here’s the tweet that they posted on their official Twitter account:

In the caption of the tweet, they wrote that they have hidden 1001 unique Starfield billboards all over the world which are numbered. They are calling this scavenger hunt campaign the “Windows to the Worlds” campaign. The caption also said that each of these billboards is offering a “glimpse into the universe of Starfield.” Further, they asked Twitter users to venture out, find these billboards and share a photo of their findings on Twitter with the hashtag “#ExploreStarfield.” In a reply tweet, they also asked users to join Bethesda Game Studios’ official Discord channel and coordinate with fellow explorers about their findings. Thus far, only 4 of the 1001 unique billboards have been found worldwide.

With 997 of the billboards, fans have only found the billboards numbered 402, 376, 210 and 118 which they have shared in the Discord server. All 4 of these unique Starfield billboards were found in London, UK in underground stations. The 4 specific London underground stations include the Kings Cross Station, Waterloo Station, St Pancras Station and an unconfirmed station in the Nothern Line platform. A tram vehicle was spotted in Australia with the Starfield advertisement on it but it wasn’t numbered so unfortunately it is not a part of the scavenger hunt campaign.

Needless to say, this is going to be one of the most fun and eccentric ways to advertise and promote the game all over the world. Fans are already on the hunt, so keep your eyes peeled to find a billboard yourself. We are also on the hunt for more news, so we will be sure to keep you updated with more information on the upcoming game by Bethesda Gaming Studios, Starfield!
